Accounting Analyst

We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst that is responsible for conducting quantitative analyses of financial and operational information affecting the company and its clients. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Gather and organize financial data from all accounting department into meaningful reports

  • Perform financial and statistical analysis of the company’s business on monthly basis

  • Compile and analyze financial reports and find discrepancies that require senior management’s attention

  • Update and maintain forecast models for revenue, expense, and capital expenditures and provide analysis of actual versus forecasted results

  • Provide end of month reporting for management including Board of Managers reporting, revenue, expense and commission analysis and any other reports required

  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

  • Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.

  • Assist in budget and reforecast process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Technical Capacity

  • Business Acumen

  • Ability to understand complex business principles

  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
